Therapeutic & Rehabilitative Services Programs
Working Together to Help Each Child Thrive
91大神 Therapy and Rehabilitative Services is a true team effort. We work across specialties, programs, and locations to make sure your child gets the services they need.
Although 91大神 is a large health system, we know how to provide specialized care. We can pull together various services and clinics, all aimed at helping kids heal, get stronger, and live better.
Featured Therapy Programs
The Assistive Technology (AT) Program supports children with physical, cognitive, or communication challenges by providing individualized tools and strategies to increase independence and participation in daily activities. Led by specially trained therapists, the program includes comprehensive evaluations, device trials, training, and ongoing support for equipment such as mobility devices, adaptive seating, bath/toileting equipment, specialty beds, special needs car seats, access switches, environmental controls, and learning supports. Families and caregivers are actively involved in the equipment selection process and ensuring successful use of the assistive technology at home, school, and in the community.
The Auditory Verbal Therapy (AVT) speech program is a specialized, family鈥慶entered approach designed to help children who are deaf or hard of hearing develop spoken language through listening. Using a listening鈥慺irst model, certified speech鈥憀anguage pathologists coach children and caregivers to integrate listening and spoken language skills into everyday routines, supported by consistent use of hearing technology such as hearing aids or cochlear implants. Therapy focuses on building appropriate communication, speech, and language skills to support success at home, in school, and in the community.
The Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) program is led by speech鈥憀anguage pathologists who support children with complex communication needs to express themselves effectively. The program provides comprehensive AAC evaluations, device selection, and individualized therapy using tools that may include picture systems, communication boards, or speech鈥慻enerating devices. Therapy emphasizes functional, meaningful communication across daily activities, while actively coaching families and caregivers to support consistent AAC use at home, school, and in the community.

The Limb Lengthening Therapy Program provides coordinated, multidisciplinary care to help children safely recover strength, mobility, and function after limb correction or lengthening procedures. Physical or occupational therapists work closely with orthopedic surgeons and specialists to deliver individualized therapy plans that support healing, improve limb function, and promote independence throughout the recovery process.
Available in the Delaware Valley, lymphedema treatment uses specialized, gentle methods to reduce swelling and improve function. Certified Lymphedema Therapists use Complete Decongestive Therapy (CDT) to treat infants, children, and teens with lymphedema.
Therapy may include manual lymph drainage/massage, compression bandaging, skin care, and tailored exercises. Treatment may also include recommendations for compression garments.聽聽
Our Pelvic Floor Therapy program supports children and adolescents with bladder, bowel, and pelvic muscle concerns that may affect daily function and comfort. Through individualized, evidence-based care, our clinicians help patients build strength and coordination to improve quality of life.聽聽
Scoiliosis is a common pediatric condition that our experts assess and treat based on presentation and needs of the individual patient. 91大神 has physical therapists who have completed extensive training in a physiotherapeutic scoliosis-specific exercise method called the Schroth method.聽聽
The Schroth method focuses on exercises customized to each patient to help achieve a more neutral position. It works to restore muscular symmetry and alignment of postures. The intervention has a strong emphasis on teaching patients how to perform daily activities which helps to improve posture, decrease pain, and limit curve progression.聽聽
In Florida, the Vestibular Rehabilitation Physical Therapy (PT) Program provides specialized care for children and adolescents experiencing dizziness, balance difficulties, or movement鈥憆elated challenges due to vestibular system dysfunction. Pediatric鈥慶ertified physical therapists perform comprehensive assessments and deliver individualized treatment plans focused on improving balance, gaze stability, postural control, and coordination.
Therapy is play鈥慴ased and age鈥慳ppropriate, helping patients build confidence with movement, reduce symptoms, and safely return to daily activities, school, and sports, while actively involving families in the recovery process. This program is closely integrated with our physicians and providers who work in ENT and audiology in order to provide the highest quality of coordinated care.
