Baby Obstacle Course
Prep: 5 Minutes | Activity Time: 5–7 Minutes
If your baby has started to scoot or crawl, he may enjoy the challenge of having to navigate over or around obstacles. This is a fun way to develop motor skills.Â
- Safe objects to place on the floor for your baby to scoot around or crawl overÂ
- ±Ê¾±±ô±ô´Ç·É²õÌý
- Sofa cushionsÂ
- Large stuffed animalÂ
- Rolled-up towel, blanket or quiltÂ
- Favorite toysÂ
Step 1:Â When your baby is alert and playful, place him on the floor to explore and play.Â
Step 2: Place an obstacle in front of him and a favorite toy on the other side.Â
Step 3:Â Watch to see if he chooses to crawl over the top or to move around the obstacle.Â
Step 4:Â If your baby enjoys the challenge, place other obstacles for him to work around.Â
Step 5: Describe what you observe your baby doing.  Â
