<b>Step 1:&nbsp;</b>Give your toddler a pile of pom-poms of various colors along with a cupcake baking plan.&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p><b>Step 2:</b>&nbsp;Start out by giving him lots of time to just explore and play with the materials.&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p><b>Step 3:</b>&nbsp;You can model how to sort the pom-poms by color into the individual cupcake tins as you name the colors. See if he will follow your lead and do some sorting. Maybe he will. Maybe he won’t! Either way is okay.&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p><b>Step 4:&nbsp;</b>You might leave the materials out for your toddler to come back to later to play with independently.&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p><b>Step 5:&nbsp;</b>Keep modeling how you sort by color.
