This model gives our patients the most comprehensive care possible.</p>\r\n<p>We are bringing primary care to a new level for all children who come through our doors.</p>\r\n<h4>What is a Teaching Primary Care Practice?</h4>\r\n<p>As a pediatric teaching hospital, our practice includes doctors who have finished medical school and are now in a three-year training program (called &quot;residency&quot;) to become pediatricians. 91´óÉñ pediatricians (called &quot;attending pediatricians&quot;) oversee the residents' work. Your child will have a resident who will be their primary care provider (PCP) and over the course of three years you will form good relationships with your resident and their supervising attending pediatricians.</p>\r\n<p>When your resident PCP graduates, we will assign a new resident PCP with the same availability, and you can continue your relationships with the supervising attending pediatricians.
