Get to Know Me

Dr. Marza Penny is a compassionate pediatrician who is dedicated to improving children’s health and well-being. She leads by example through her commitment to healthy living, exercise, and balanced nutrition. Dr. Penny values meaningful time with family and finds joy in travel and simple walks with her husband, inspiring others through her lifestyle and positive outlook.

Why I Treat Children

Even though I was the youngest of three, many of my playmates were younger, and I naturally took on a nurturing role — reading to them, tutoring them, and helping them learn. A high school science teacher recognized my interest in the sciences and encouraged me to join their medical academy. Later, in medical school, residents who showed compassion and gentle guidance with pediatric patients confirmed for me that caring for children was the path I wanted to follow.

What I'm Passionate About

I am passionate about exploring the world through reading and listening to educational podcasts, spending meaningful time with my family, and caring for pediatric patients in a way that guides, nurtures, and improves their health. I’m also deeply committed to healthy living through exercise and plant-based nutrition, and I cherish simple moments like going to the gym and on walks with my husband. These passions keep me grounded, purposeful, and inspired in both my personal and professional life.

How I Try to Make A Difference

I try to make a difference in life by leading through example. I’m continually working to improve my own health — choosing better nutrition, staying active, and aiming to age gracefully. Whenever I can, I share what I’ve learned with my family, friends, and patients, hoping to inspire them to make small, meaningful changes that support their well-being.
