I grew up in Erie, PA, and was a quiet kid, although I still managed to get into trouble because of my curiosity. Today, I view curiosity as an asset – it helps me be a better doctor. I knew in grade school I wanted to be a doctor. My own pediatrician was an inspiration. He looked out for me and my siblings growing up and that appealed to me.Why I Treat Children
