I have always loved science and medicine and knew from an early age that I wanted to be in medicine. It is one of the greatest privileges to care for patients and help their families during their cancer treatment.
Why I Treat Children
I have always known that I wanted to work with children. Even when dealing with sickness, children have this uncanny ability to find the humor and positivity in all situations.聽
What I'm Passionate About
I am passionate about taking the very best care of children and their families in every single interaction I have with them. I am passionate in continuing to improve the care and outcomes of children with cancer and blood disorders through clinical trials and research.聽
How I Try to Make A Difference
I have a particular interest in treating children with leukemia and want to make improvements in every aspect of their care through clinical trials.聽
I also have an interest in improving patient care and clinical research by finding innovative uses of the electronic health record to collect data about how patients are doing on treatment. I also focus on improving the safe delivery of chemotherapy medications.聽
