Why I Treat Children
I really enjoy working with children. It helps to ground me and remind me every day of why I entered medicine in the first place. Each child has their own unique way of interacting with the world and this makes each of my patients special. I also really enjoy it when I get a chance to see my patients grow up. 聽My favorite is when my patients come to my office after their procedures more comfortable and happier than they were before.聽
What I'm Passionate About
I love to restore function and form to my patients. I take great care with each procedure to restore my patients. My goal is to give each of my patients the best chance to heal and return to normal or, when needed, improved function.
How I Try to Make A Difference
My goal is to meet each patient and their family where they are and acknowledge their needs. I work to tailor my interactions with my patients and their families to make them as comfortable as possible. This may mean not speaking or making eye contact with a nervous toddler while talking with their family. At other times it means having a long conversation and answering many questions from a curious teen or preteen. I want both my patients and their families to leave my office feeling like they are in good hands and have spoken with a doctor that understands them.
