<b>Step 1:</b> Choose a children's song/chant that your baby is familiar with.&nbsp; (For example: The Itsy Bitsy Spider)&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p><b>Step 2: </b>Choose a sound your child can produce. (For example: &quot;ba&quot;)&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p><b>Step 3:</b> Using the tune of the song (or cadence of the chant), replace all of the words with one repeated sound.&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p>Example:&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p>Replace this: 鈥淭he it 鈥 sy bit 鈥 sy spi 鈥 der climbed up the wa 鈥 ter spout鈥&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p>with this: 鈥渂a&nbsp; ba-ba&nbsp; ba-ba&nbsp; ba-ba&nbsp; &nbsp;ba ba ba ba-ba ba鈥&nbsp;</p>\r\n<p><b>Step 4:</b> Your baby will enjoy the song/chant because the rhythm remains familiar, but she will be attending to one specific speech sound.
